SMC Creations began when I made a river table for our outside patio area, while working with wood was not new, working with epoxy resin was.  I found that by marrying the inherent beauty of wood with the vibrant color palette that epoxy resin offers created limitless design possibilities. This has allowed me to bring new life to wood pieces that were once considered unsuitable for my solid wood projects.

Each piece is individually and meticulously crafted with precision and care to ensure that the beauty of the wood is showcased.

 

Cutting boards:  Are made with premium hardwood to withstand the test of time.  I create both end grain and edge grain full wood boards or river-style cutting boards which is a combination of live edge wood and colored resin.  These are perfect for cutting and serving on the same board.

Serving boards:  Are made with live edge wood combined with colored or clear resin with unique inclusions.  Every serving board has a seal and top-coat and is then finished with a gloss heat and scratch resistant coating.

 

Dual sided boards:  One side is for cutting while the other is for serving with each side being treated the same as its single sided counterpart.

Side tables:  Made from wood, resin or a combination of both.  All tables are securely mounted on solid metal legs that are easily removed if needed.  All resin tables are finished with gloss heat and scratch resistant coating.  Wood or wood and resin tables can also be finished with gloss or matte heat and scratch resistant coating upon request for an additional charge.
